I have purchased about 5 of Enrique Chia CD's. While playing these CD's in my home and having people over my home we have all talked about the beautiful music he plays. I have also purchased 2 DCD's of him playing his music. I just love them all. I wish we could give more than 5 stars as he truly should receive more.

I own more than ten albums by Mr. Chia. This is the most beautiful of all the albums. The man is a gifted artist and I can not recommend his music high enough for anyone.

Enrique Quia has had an amazing life and careers. He was brought to the United States when his parents fled from Communist Cuba. He majored in English for his undergraduate degree. Then his interest in science led to a graduate degree as a metalurgical engineer. He was a highly successful engineer and holds numerous patents. However, his hobby was music and he often performed at charitable events. It was not until he retired from his first profession that he began to record his piano music. His style is uniquely individualistic and extremely enjoyable. I would rank him as good as the great popular pianists of the past: Jan August, Frankie Carle, Roger Williams, et al. If you like them, you will certainly enjoy Enrique Quia's music. This DVD contains a nice sampling of his music backed by a small group of musicians. I especially enjoyed the CDs he made as a soloist. He doesn't need any backup, but the DVD was well done.
