GREAT VIETNAM MOVIEDec 20, 2011
By Paul Scott I have to agree with Brett B. Clark, one of the stars of the movie.
I enjoyed it,its on par with Joe Solomon's THE LOOSER which is a minor classic. If you approach this with the right attitude, its a fun picture. Directed by the late Cirio H. Santiago,a very good Director, who worked on this and about 100 plus films, some in partnership with Roger Corman.
It also as 2 sequels, also check out NAMS ANGELS.
This is a nice print 1.33 Ratio as it was originally shot.

By JENICE This was not the movie that I ordered. Horrible video with poor acting. Next time will only order with Amazon's backing.
It is what i is!Jun 10, 2011
By Brett B. Clark Seeing that I was the star of this movie (Rick Stratton),... I can review it a little more rationally then the one BONEHEAD that reviewed it prior!! First,... It is a pretty crappy, low budget action movie. You should expect that going in. Some acting is bad (Local hire in the Philippines), and, some acting is pretty decent! Some battle scenes are decent enough too.... Some are not so great. As far as the PREVIOUS REVIEWERS comments on unrealistic locations!! LOL! PRETTY FUNNY, AND, JUST PLAIN STUPID AND IGNORANT!! "MOST" of the locations we shot in were the EXACT same as "Apocalypse Now"! "Platoon"! And "Hamburger Hill"! Ha! We even had some of the same crew, and backround players that were in all three blockbusters! ALSO,.... The other reviewer is an idiot also with "The worst movie ever made" comment!! You ever see "Year One" with Jack Black? I could go on with 20 other unwatchable movies where they spent Millions! When you spend a couple of bucks, and get a fun Turkey to watch,... I think that, that is acceptable. Laugh when its bad! And, enjoy it when it's ok, and they're blowing stuff up!! When you spend MILLIONS with "Supposed" big stars, and it sucks!! THAT is unacceptable!! And, just plain irritating!

WORST MOVIE IN THE HISTORY OF CINEMATOGRAPHYOct 07, 2005
By Saima Paidra This is actually the worst movie in the entire world. Every possible aspect of the film is brutally awful: sound, acting, special effects, plot (or lack thereof), dialogue etc. The majority of the film consists of the worst combat scenes ever filmed. It is supposed to take place in "Nam" (and combine the "brutal honesty of Platoon and the action of Rambo"), however the forests are all the furthest possible thing from tropical rainforests, with large open expanses and plenty of dry grass.
However, on a positive note, it is so bad that it is quite funny. So it's worth seeing for that reason, but just don't show it to a Vietnam vet.
