Great performances, defective DVDFeb 02, 2010

"Art"
This is Astor in his later years, a "must have" for Piazzolla fans. But the copy I bought here hangs up on a disclaimer screen at the beginning and won't continue. The only way I can view the first segment is to go to #2, then rewind. Frustrating, someone dropped the ball in production. My player is an older Sony, but has usually been very capable, so I think it's an encoding problem. Be aware!

Piazzolla with power!Apr 25, 2008
By LaMonte Heflick Astor Piazzolla, Fernando Suarez Paz, and Pablo Ziegler (and bass player Hector Console) rock the stage. This is powerful music. I would have loved to have been in the audience for this great performance. I am now a die hard fan of Piazzolla and his Tango Nuevo.
