A neat film on the people of GreenlandDec 15, 2008

Add a star if you're interested in Arctic cultures, Greenland, black and white photography, or wonder what living in the northernmost town in the world is like.
It's 3/4 documentary, 1/4 arctic black & white photography lesson.
I really had no clue who or how people lived in Greenland until I saw this film. I now have a deep respect for how hard things are for them.
I highly recommend this film. It makes you re-think one's views on hunting and our place in this world.
Very rare view of life in GrenlandApr 07, 2009

When I flew over Greenland on my way home from Iceland I looked down from the plane and wondered what life must be like in that starkly beautiful landscape. In this fascinating documentary, the filmmaker joins Greenlanders on their hunting excursions over the ice, and captures interesting glimpses into their culture as well as astounding vistas of the Greenland that very very few ever see. If you are interested in travel, adventure, or the arctic, this film is one of the few out there that hits the ice running.
